I currently have a GA-MA770T-UD3P (rev. 1.0) [COLOR=blue ! important][COLOR=blue ! important]motherboard[/COLOR][/COLOR] with:
AMD Sempron 140 am3 cpu
ATI Radeon 2900 xt graphics
Nanya ddr3 1066 ram nt1gc72b89a0nf-be (x2)
HEC 585 watt power supply to run it all-

The problem is once everything is all hooked up and started, I get no picture on the monitor. It won't post at all. I'm wondering if it's the ram or the pcie 16x slot on the board? BUT...........I sent it in to Gigabyte for an RMA request. They said they fixed the board and sent it back to me but it still doesn't work!! I've tried multiple video pcie cards and pci cards and still get no video. Based on other opinions, my best guess is the RAM. Never used Nanya before and don't know if they are reliable, the memory us supposed to work because it's 1.5volts. Any Ideas would be well appreciated....

When you have a no P.O.S.T. Just before sending the motherboard back you will want to remove the motherboard from the case and perform a P.O.S.T. bench test to it.
Instructions as follows.
Please follow the following simple steps.
1. Remove the motherboard from the case and any trays or chassies.
2. Place the motherboard on top of the cardboard box (you can use the motherboard box)
3. Install a good CPU, CPU fan, good Memory, a good Power supply plugs (plug the 1 X 20 pin and 1 X 4 or 2 X 8 pin from the power supply unit) and a good working video card.
4. Hook the monitor to the video card and be sure the monitor is switched on.
5. Turn on the system board by using the case "Power on" switch.
6. If the system fails to POST, check the components' insertion again to ensure they are all connected properly.
Then RMA. This may save you some time and S&H charges if it is a short from the case.

I have done that-That is a great way to test it out- the only thing is I have no extra memory to test it with so I am not sure if that may be the problem. Based on the motherboard's manual, all my components should work without an issue. the ram was not on the compatibility list but i was assured since it's 1.5 volts that it should work.

It could be memory, cpu, graphics card, power supply, monitor, motherboard, connection. Any one or combination of these parts can cause no P.O.S.T. If you don't have parts to exchange with, you may want to take it to a repair shop. You know where they have diagnostic equipment and exchangable parts to find and eliminate the problem. This would be cheaper than buying any 2 parts. It may even be cheaper then buying 1 part if it is a connection or something like that. This brought me to a thought check the power supply switch on the back of the power supply. They have a little red switch for changing voltage from 120 to 240. It is there for different areas use different voltage. Some use 240v some 120v.
