    What is the cable used (audio) to hear the startup beeps? I see a place to plug it in but what do I put in there. what does the cable look like.

    its just a little motherboard speaker,either a tiny speaker or like a black diode that emits a beep,it should be marked mb/speaker on the mb at the bottom

      Did your system work before, or are you just trying to build one? Have you tried it out of the case and off the tray with only one stick of memory? Have you tested this memory on another machine to be sure it works?
