I am about to do install a new motherboard(EP45-UD3P). I currently have 2GB of PC2-8500 of Cruicial Ballistic which I was not able to run stable at 1066MTS for the GA-P35-DS3L I had. I had to slow it down to 800MTS. I would have asked for help had I known about this forum last year. I hope these 2G will run at least 1066 for my new board. However, I want to get at least 4G for the new board if not 8G. This board supports DDR speed up to 1300MTS but seems like it's not available everywhere. The only thing I found is G.SKILL from newegg and I think it's PC2-9200. I read the memory compatibility list from Gigabyte site and I can't find any of those from the list. I read someone here was using the G.SKILL with this board and said stable. Anyone able to run stable at spec speed of 1200MTS or higher for memory? I am asking just the memory it self and not FSB. If the only memory I can get is PC2-8500, is there problem if I mix another brand say Kingston or G.skill with these 2G Cruicial Ballsitic?
