    Sure!

About your test with LinX, how many passes are you trying and with what amount of memory?

Re: Ex58 cold boot and sleep problems

For now, try it with 5-10 passes using only 3-4GB of memory and see if that passes, if it does then you may need more IOH or Vdimm to pass 20 with full memory selected

Re: Ex58 cold boot and sleep problems

Ya, I saw them. I was just suggesting you try the above as it should pass if things are fairly stable. If so then you may just need the tweaks mentioned above to pass with Full memory selected.

IF the above fails you may still not be using enough QPI/Vtt

Re: Ex58 cold boot and sleep problems

Upgraded BIOS to F9K - reloaded settings from recorded stable template. Looks LOADS better. I think last night's messing about I was missing bits off all over the place. I checked every setting (not just ones marked as to change etc) 3 or 4 times and looks back in stable town already.

                ImageShack -

Hopefully these drivers will be up soon to test for this graphics issue - :-)

Re: Ex58 cold boot and sleep problems

looks like my grpahics drivers are honked out - I'm now getting this blue screen when turning on from cold.....

                  Bug Check 0x3B: SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION
The SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION bug check has a value of 0x0000003B. This indicates that an exception happened while executing a routine that transitions from non-privileged code to privileged code.

                  Cause
This error has been linked to excessive paged pool usage and may occur due to user-mode graphics drivers crossing over and passing bad data to the kernel code.
