I am having a problem understanding on a new build with 2 sata drives and one DVD drive, why the BIOS detects the SATA drives as IDE Channel 0 Master and IDE Channel 1 Slave and the DVD drive is not detected. The DVD drive works and is displayed in Windows device manager but have found it is slow when burning a DVD. On startup the the first boot screen displays the SATA drives configured as above then there is a second screen that momentarily appears displaying the DVD drive (highlighted in green) under a heading Gigabyte: PCI express to SATA II controller ROM.Another problem i get is a low frequency momentary buzz from the speaker connected to MB. Any help understanding these problems would be great.Thanks.
