This problem isn't likely particular to the Gigabyte board...but it may be, thought'd I'd try here and see if anyone else has seen this problem.
I am running Win7 Home Premium (clean install, fully updated) on a new Gigabyte GA-EP45-UD3P (rev. 1.6), Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU E8500 @ 3.16GHz, and 4 GB G.Skill Ram at DDR2 800Mhz.
Recently, I have had an issue where network connectivity is gone, and I lose access to most services (i.e., they are still running, but I can't ping them or get information from them, like I normally can). A reboot fixes everything. There are no crashes, and no system error messages. A memory test reveals no problems.
The only thing I can get from the Windows Logs is that certain services keep stopping and re-starting, including the Applicant Experience service, the Windows Installer Service, the Volume Shadow Copy service, and the Multimedia Class Scheduler service. The services seem to stop and restart every 10-30 minutes, and eventually, I lose all network connectivity and access to other services. It's usually about 2-3 days from boot-up, to finally losing network connectivity and other services.
The Services snap-in lists all services as "running," even after losing network connectivity and access to other services.
Has anyone ever seen this? I've attached a bit of the system logs below...
Thanks!
