  • Ga-ep45-ud3l + hackintosh anyone?

    Hello , this might not be the right place but i'll ask anyways I have a 10.5.6 hackintosh dvd and I am trying to install it on my pc.I have the ud3l mobo and a sata hard drive and a ide dvd drive.I keep getting a still waiting for root device error. Anyone with experience in this area with this board? THks

    Set it to ACHI Mode

      Thks for reply did the achi thing , same error i know it has to do with 2 things either the ide dvd-rw drive is the problem or the jmicron controller . Any other ideas for this board Thks again

        This is your only option and then disable jmicron

        IDE-SATA IDE Drive to SATA Cable Converter for IDE HDD/CD/DVD

            You can not disable jmicron because you are still using IDE

              So only way is to get a sata dvd drive or I saw somewhere that we could copy files to hard drive firstThks
