  • Windows 7 freezing

    Hello,

I have done a clean install of vista ( after it was running fine for 2 weeks ) and upgraded immediatly to windows 7 with the upgrade option. Now the system is freezing randomly, sometimes when I play games, but sometimes also when I just visiting websites.

The only thing I have figured out was that Windows 7 was freezing when creating restore point before installing the windows updates.

The only thing I see on the moment is it freezing, is something like a screenshot on my monitor. The keyboard light and the mouse light is going out and I can do nothing, just the screen is there and the Harddisk is also stopping. The only solution is to do a manual shut down because when I do a reset the systems hangs on starting windows screen sometimes.

    Here is my overview :

Trust me, your system will be a lot better off with a clean installation.

A clean installation doesn't take as long, either--I'm assuming because of file migration.
