OK I'm just coming up with ideas here. Have you checked in BIOS PC Health Statues to see if any alarms or warnings are enabled?
      Code:
      PC Health Status
      Hardware Thermal Control [Enabled]
      Reset Case Open Status [Disabled]
      Case Opened No

Current CPU FAN Speed 1962 RPM
Current SYSTEM FAN1 Speed 0 RPM
Current SYSTEM FAN2 Speed 0 RPM
Current NB FAN Speed 0 RPM
Current POWER FAN Speed 0 RPM
      CPU Warning Temperature [Disabled]

way ahead of you. When the problem first started happening I thought it might be from one of these warning settings. But even after disabling all of the warnings...still got the beep series. so enabled or disabled they have made no difference.

latestnews: got an answer from Gigabyte but have not had time to verify if it corrects the problem.
          "Dear customer,
it was warning beeps, could be incorrect voltage was detected in bios. Please try reset bios to load fail-safe defaults and load optimized defaults. Mother board bios memory voltage setting is base on 1.5v ( default voltage ), please check current model memory voltage spec if it's higher then 1.5v, go in bios under M/B intelligent tweaker memory voltage control item adjust memory voltage to match memory voltage needs .
For example: current memory is 1.7v, go in bios M/B intelligent tweaker on memory voltage control item change to 1.7v, this will match the current model memory voltage spec, check if issue not comes up any more."

          will update when tested.

Re: Getting strange Beep Codes for GA-MA790GPT-UD3H mobo

They sure explained this wrong. You must check your memory and get the part number to verify the voltage recommended by the memory manufacturer. You can usually google search with your complete memory part number. Somewhere you will find the voltage recommended for that memory. I googled this for you it is 1.8v not 1.7v Memory Timing is 9-9-9-24
Enter bios on the first page of bios press CTRL+F1 at the same time. This will give you all of your bios setup options. This must be done everytime for all of your BIOS setup options.
            Code:
            MB Intelligent Tweaker(M.I.T.)
} Advanced Clock Calibration [Press Enter]
            CPU Clock Ratio [Auto] 2800Mhz
            CPU NorthBridge Freq. [Auto] 2000Mhz
            CPU Host Clock Control [Auto]
            x CPU Frequency(MHz) 200
            PCIE Clock(MHz) [Auto]
            HT Link Width [Auto]
            HT Link Frequency [Auto] 2000Mhz
            VGA Core Clock control [Disabled]
            x VGA Core Clock(MHz) 700
            Set Memory Clock [[COLOR="DarkRed"]Manual[/COLOR]]
            x Memory Clock x6.66 1333Mhz
            } DRAM Configuration [[COLOR="DarkRed"]Press Enter[/COLOR]]
            ******** System Voltage Optimized ********
            System Voltage Control [Manual]
            DDR3 Voltage Control [[COLOR="DarkRed"]Manual[/COLOR]]1.8v= +0.300v
            NorthBridge Volt Control [Normal]
            SouthBridge Volt Control [Normal]
            SidePort Mem Volt Control [Normal]
            CPU NB VID Control [Normal]
            CPU Voltage Control [Normal]
            Normal CPU Vcore 1.3250V
You can verify voltage in Bios in PC Health Status.
When you first change it you must save and reboot then enter bios again, and go to PC Health Status to verify the voltage change.

Then Press enter to set timing items as follows, but don't pay attention to greyed numbers on the right in your bios or here. They are for reference only. Try setting the ones listed in red.:
            Code:
            DCTs Mode [Unganged]

Re: Getting strange Beep Codes for GA-MA790GPT-UD3H mobo

I finally had time to try suggestions from gigabyte. I reset bios to fail safe defaults and also tried optimized defaults. nothing changed...still had beep series problem. I tried changing memory voltage in bios to manufacturer recommendations ( which according to corsair were 1.8v at 7-7-7-20 latencies... I also tried 1.6v, 1.7v ).
still no change in beep code series. so none of gigabytes suggestions has been able to remove the series of beep codes as originally described.
