  • Gigabyte GA-EP45-UD3R no audio

    hi ,
    i am not getting audio out of my Motherboard(Gigabyte GA-EP45-UD3R) . it used to work fine when i have P4 processor . suddenly stoped working when i upgrade to core2quard q9550 . i installed latest drive and realtek software. still not working. it says under the speaker icon "realtek high definition audio not plugged in" .

    please help me

    When I installed the realtek software. I first unplug the speakers from the audio jack, and uninstalled the realtek software. Then I install the updated software. Then rebooted and check to be sure the device manager has the audio software displayed. Then I plug the speakers into the audio jack. Realtek software detected the new speakers and asked me where and how I want them to be setup as. But that was with windows xp.
