Been a while , trying to set up a raid 0 on a ep35ds3 using the Jmicron ports. Configureed the array with 2 identical 500gb drives. Windows (eventually) recognised them as one big 1000gb drive. I thought the whole idea was its sees a 500gb but reads faster as it takes bits off 2 feeds. I can see no speed increase, what have i done wrong or have I just lost the plot.Please any suggestions, as quick as possible before I shut the damn thing down and re-install (yet again), wished I 'd bought the ds3r ( i'll never bother trying raid , he said).
