    How to Recover my RAID 0 Array

    My System and media files are all on 2 500Gb Drives in RAID 0. I have a GA-EX58-EXTREME motherboard and i decided to run the option "Load Optimized Defaults" in the bios. This was all ok and it tried to reboot into windows however it couldnt due to the RAID controller being off. So I then went into the Bios and set the option back to RAID and rebooted. However when the RAID controller tried to recognise the array the status said failed. One of the drives said Member disk and the other said Non-Raid Disk. Is there any way to recover the Array or get the files of the drives?

    Jono mate, dont stress I dont think its all lost yet. Im sure all you have to do is select RAID option then go into the Intel RAID BIOS which is like alt+f1 maybe when loading I cant remember it should say on your screen. Then It should be straight forward from there maybe like setting up the raid as you did originally, you need to enter the original strip size that you were running with somewere. Just dont hit ok on anything that says this will wipe your drive. Sorry I am aa bit vauge its been awhile since I read about this. RAID 1 is less tricky.

      Its all good I got it back. I just deleted the broken array then recreated it exactly the same as the old 1. I then booted on another drive and used a program called testdisk which found the original partitions and restored them
