Ok I finally got my motherboard working and I'm already encountering another annoying issue. I have two DVD burners installed on this motherboard and it can detect both. The problem is, with both enabled when it reaches the "Boot from CD/DVD" screen, the screen just sits there and does nothing. In order to get pass the screen, I have to disable one DVD drive, and its really annoying because I rather have two drives enabled all the time. Any ideas on how to get pass the screen with both drives enabled?

do you press f12? and select boot from? or you mean the splash screen? go in bios and set the first boot device as hard driveGigabyte z77x UP4-TH F11c Modded Bios

Yeah, if I go to the BIOS and select the first boot device as hard drive, and select CDROM as the second one, it won't even read the DVD drives at all.

no its different at splash screen you can select f12 and then its gives you a list of devices to boot from i use it to dual boot you should see dvd drive aswellGigabyte z77x UP4-TH F11c Modded Bios

Please list the exact sata port "names" that each device is hooked up to.
Take a look at posts #33 to #35.
Different setup (i7/EX58-UD5) but it might work.
You might be able to work around your DVD problem by using different sata "modules".
