  • Core voltage decreases after Sleep Mode(S3)

    Hi
    I'm using e8500 at 3.8ghz and ep35c-ds3r motherboard.

My overclocked voltage is 1.216(cpu-z load) and my system is fully stable.
But i'm using sleep mode and after computer wake up from sleep ,core voltage changes to 1.184.So at this voltage my computer isn't stable and i'm getting random bsods..

How can i solve this problem?

Run something like Prime 95 and see if your voltage goes back up in CPU-z. Is it posible that its just the EIST and the other thing thats lowering your voltage when Idle? Just wondering.

it has nothing to do with speedstep or idle-load situation..

Re: Core voltage decreases after Sleep Mode(S3)

I have a similar situation regarding my RAM after sleep. Just started doing it out of nowhere.

It will go from 8 8 8 24, to 4 8 8 24. And i have tested for stability, specifically memory and everything passes. Its probly just a software issue and if your machine is still stable after you lose that voltage, i would not worry about it.
