    Kingston 4x KVR1066D2N7/1G
    Inno3d geforce 9800gt 512mb ddr3
    Seagate ST3160813AS
    Antec Neo HE550

I have played with the setting for 2g and system seem to run fine in duel channel but as soon as i put the other 2g in system keeps on rebooting i have swaped memory around and run mem test with no errors so i believe i still need to change some more setting or start again but this is where i am stuck so need some help

Re: EP43-DS3 reboots with 4G Kingston ram

The link you provided is for a single 1GB modules, are you using 4 of those?

    Are those your settings
    Code:
    Performance Enhance...................: [STANDARD]
    Extreme Memory Profile (X.M.P.).....: Disabled
And memory shows 1066? It doesn't add up.

Could you post a screen capture of MemSet main and spd(click spd) windows?

For more than 2x1GB of ram more MCH Core is usually needed, in more rare case less is needed.
Please load optimized defaults with 2GB ram first, then make the following changes
    Code:
    Performance Enhance...................: [STANDARD]
    Extreme Memory Profile (X.M.P.).....: Disabled

    MCH Core.....1.100V...........:1.20v
Save the changes reboot, then shut it down and install the other 2GB.
If system fail to boot, let it try 5-7 times, then turn the PSU Off for ~20 seconds, turn it on and try again. You may need to repeat this process more than once. When the pc boots up enter BIOS MIT (a red warning will show) and make nesessary changes, save and reboot until it boot normally.
Try MCH Core in the range 1.2-1.26v, usually you will find the right value within this range, otherwise try values in the range of 1.05-0.95v.

If you manage to boot run 6+ passes of memtest86+, before you go into windows, to make sure you don't get memory errors.

MemSet and memtest86+ and other usfeul programs can be found in http://forums.tweaktown.com/f69/late...30/#post284762
