Re: GA-EP45-DS3R wont boot
Well DRAM voltage is set correctly to 2.1v, apparently set to auto.
I wouldn't think this is a memory related problem, though if you want to test this you can set Performance Enhance to standard and XMP to disabled and use the ram at DDR-667 settings and see if the problem persists.
The boot hard drive is SATA or IDE?

Re: GA-EP45-DS3R wont boot
Please include Memset's main screen (click on ">>" icon) along with the SPD screen.
The rest of the screen-shot is good.
Do either of your memory modules have a sticker on them that says to limit your DRAM voltage to 2.1 volts?Q9650 @ 4.10GHz [9x456MHz]

Re: GA-EP45-DS3R wont boot
I'm sorry i asked for help but i have been tied up so much lately that i did not have much time to care of my business.
So like i said last post, if i press power, then immediately press reset, the pc loads to desktop. If i dont, it jams and it says to boot from cd,dvd etc.
I have a second hard drive to which i installed Win7 (the trial version0, and the pc behaves the same.
Where do i go from here?.
thank you.- MB : Gigabyte GA-EP45-DS3R, Rev.1. Bios F10.

Re: GA-EP45-DS3R wont boot
It's cool, we all have lives aside from our computers. No problem I was just checking in with you was all.
How about if you remove/unplug the reset switch? OR try another case power switch if possible? Could be a faulty switch, or a short. Does this happen if you have the board out of the case and OFF the motherboard tray?
