Just installed my Noctua NH-u12P for my Intel i7 920. I am using both fans but was wondering if I had it set-up the best way. The cooler came with a Y-connector that I used to have both fans running off of the CPU Fan input on the MOBO thus being controlled the same way by the BIOS. There is another connection labled Sys.Fan that I could have used for one fan and the CPU Fan input for the other. Does it matter which option would work better? I mean instead of using the Y-connector to the CPU Fan input? I also have the Smart Fan enabled in the BIOS. Also, would running the fans full speed all the time work better?

cpu fan header is best imo,and i have my nero set to 65% constant speed in easytune with cpu sliders at 50c i dont hear it at all,and it automaticaly spins faster if needed, 30c in easytune idleGigabyte z77x UP4-TH F11c Modded Bios
