If I have Vista installed on one drive then after I install windows 7 on another drive, I now have the duel boot option that asks which I want to boot Windows 7 or Vista. My question is, can I temporarily turn off the power unplug the sata cable for the vista HDD then turn it on and load windows 7, test my computer then turn off and replug my vista drive back in, will I ruin the dual boot option? Will that option still appear? Will I still be able to run my vista drive? I want to test my computer to see if one of my drives are causing me my sleep/wake problems by unplugging then one at a time and trying them. I just dont want to ruin any configuration for being able to boot vista or windows 7.
Thanks
