REPORT. UNACCEPTABLE GIGABYTE!

Hi there, I'm not sure if this is just Gigabyte MB concerning problem, but here it is:

it's unaccetable for an 2 year old motherboard to have this severe audio problems; whenever audio is played, and simultaneously perhaps the net is peeped, severe crackling is heard. It's disturbing! No matter the OS, or the audio driver or media player or any buffers. (although it's less severe in windows mp, than winamp, nevertheless.)(edited, no matter)

Why is it unaccetable! No such problems ever happened with my previous MB from 2002. (manufacturer withdrawn)

I know the EIST handling might have something to do with this, regarding to other posters, nevertheless, GIGABYTE, it would be greatly appreciated, if you could get your BIOS:es or whatever it takes to get things under control. If you sell your stuff as high whatever, please deliver!

So this happens on a clean install as well, with no drivers installed? Are you installing the DES Software by chance, this can cause audio issues as well as C1E and EIST as you mentioned.

Are you using F6c BIOS? Latest Drivers all around?

Do you hear this sound if you use the onboard sound? If so it possibly could be your PSU causing this

Ok, confirmed! After disabeling C1E and EIST in the BIOS, the computer is working flawlessly. No more crackling in the audio, in fact I can open several media players, play audio and video, have several browsers open simultaneously, and everything is working fine. aah, now my nerves are calm!

So the question raises!

Hmmm... Interesting, didn't know C1e and EIST could do that. lol i was gonna say maybe your speakers are f*d up. LSD gets the job done again!
