  • Easytune's Blck reading

    Hi
I have a strange blck reading from easytune6
this was downloaded from gigabytes site a week ago .. Build 2009.05.15

Might it be something to do with having CPU Enhanced Halt (C1E) and CPU EIST Function Enabled

I was having a problem with the Motherboard onboard led's, most where lit , North Bridge , South Bridge , Memory , Cpu voltage ... even though i reset all to auto then restarted and loaded windows, they where still all lit.

Next i tried to set all the volts to there default values, same problem all where still lit . Only way to solve it was to reset bios optimized default, then all the overvoltage led's went out.
Which its at default values in the easytune pic you see above.

I dont use easytune to change any settings , only to view current settings i have changed in the bios. my fear is that every time i boot into windows, it is changing settings.
when i installed it , i right clicked the icon on the task bar and unticked "load next boot".
Then disabled the start up entry in the registry ,etcall.exe.

If anyone could tell me if what i have done will stop easytune from changing any settings , i would be grateful.

    Re: Easytune's Blck reading

Please go ahead and download the latest version, as it seems that one is buggy.

    B09.0818.1
    GIGABYTE - Support&Download - Motherboard - Utility

Bclk should not even be in that corner anyway, it should be under CPU >>

But I can tell you Easytune is often buggy (Happens to CPU-z as well sometimes at high Bclk's), so nothing to worry about. I suggest using Easytune ONLY to look at or change (For testing) Voltages. I suggest CPU-z, CPU-Tweaker, and or Everest for everything else. Those can all be found here if you are not sure where to obtain them >>
