    Re: GA-EX58-UD5 won't boot

some search in google, ppl who had BF error, it was a ram problem or either ram was plugged in wrong slots, try each stick of ram separately in the second slot close to the cpu socket

tried my 3 RAM sticksin the first slot, nothing happend.
Also any other configuration doesn't help.

make sure you put ram in the second slot near the cpu socket, the white slot from the left

your ram should be fine with this mobo, and I don't think the 3 sticks are bad

            Re: GA-EX58-UD5 won't boot

yes sorry, I have pluggend them in the second slot(WHITE) near the CPU

When I turn my mobo on, after 4 seconds it switching off and after 2 seconds it switching back on.
So I have to switch off my PSU otherwise the mobo will reboot every 4 seconds.

ow yes, and when I press the reset button, he reboots and I get an b2 error and the system will freeze

                    Re: GA-EX58-UD5 won't boot

BF code is memory related, and multipliers but since you can set those yet I would suspect memory to be the issue.

                    Debug codes are posted here

                      Re: GA-EX58-UD5 won't boot

                      I solved the problem.

Changd the ram with a friend to boot up and install windows XP.
Then I could update the BIOS from F1 to F7.
After that, I replaced the ram again.
And now I have my computer up and running.

Thanks to everyone for the help

Ahh so the ram itself was fine then? Just not compatible with BIOS F1?

Glad to see you got it going!

Yes, it was the BIOS that was not compatible with it.

but now everything is fine and on speed :p

                            Thanks for letting us no.

I often forget that older F1-3 BIOS may not work with certain ram, and it is very hard to know if this is the issue with brand new boards so you never can be sure what to advise people when it comes to things like this.

Glad you got it going though, post back anytime
