  • MA77OT-UD3P/AMD x3 720 BE system restart

Hi new user here and I'm having a little problem. Everything I play a game for a little while or open up to many windows the computer restarts its self. Now I've monitor the CPU but it doesn't get higher than 40c to 45c with a load. I've thuoght maybe it could be the mosfits that are overheating due to the overclock but would that cause a system restart? I mean they do state that if BE CPU is put in you may need cooling on the mosfits. If anyone could help me it would be greatly appreciated.

Yes but it may not be the mosfets.
    What are your system temps?
What type of cooling do you have on your system?

      Re: MA77OT-UD3P/AMD x3 720 BE system restart

It idles around 18 to 20c at load with prime95 stress test it doesn't get over 45c in a 15 min test but will still crash blue screen. Play a game for about 10 min before before crashing, temp still not going over 45c. I have 7 80mm fan and a Apevia Iceberg power 680w. I'm pretty sure i have good airflow. 4 blowing in 4 blowing out. Plus the CPU OCZ heatsink with a 120mm fan.

        Nice OC

Have you tried setting your memory clock down one? Just to eliminate it being the memory.

No I haven't, what would I lower it to? Those timings are the factory timings.

Your memory needs to be optimized. When you get to your first bios screen press and hold ctrl then press F1 Ctrl+F1 to make more changes. Then MB Intelligent Tweaker(M.I.T.) Dram configuration
