Mine GA-EX58-UD% no botto with this configuration

    Gigabyte GA-X58-UD5
    Core i7 920 D0 Stepping
    3x2 GB Corsair XMS3 @1333 9-9-9-24 @ 1.5V (TR3X6G1333C9)

    Re: GA-EX58-UD5 no boot

    Hi Z4g0r and welcome :)

Do you get anything at all when you try to boot?

    Any POST beeps?

Also try booting with just one stick of RAM and see if anything happens.

Also I would check the ampage of your PSU as at 600w it may struggle with an i7!!, specially if it is no name cheaper PSU.

It would also be worth checking the Gigabyte website to see if your RAM is compatiable!, I would guess that it was thou as corsair memory is a well known and popular brand of memory.

Also make sure your case wires are attached to your mobo the correct way round, or the power button on the case will not work.

    Kind regards,

      Hi Juddrman,
thanks for the answer. Voltage and amp are ok. The problem was on the mobo.
      I send it to assistance.

the X58 have known issue's with certain power supplies that should normally work, but when paired with a X58 MB they do not. Swap out the current PSU or use anohter one when your RMA does not work either.
        Good luck!

I have also seen many Bent pins lately, due to user error or shipped out that way. So if you have not shipped the board off yet please check to be sure there are NO Bent pins.

And yes, please try another PSU as I have seen several issues with PSU's lately some incompatible and some just not enough juice

LSD what symptoms are typical when the PSU is a problem on the X58 board ? I have had my UD5 system since early May and have experienced 8 unexplained system freezes. I am not doing any overclocking.

              Re: GA-EX58-UD5 no boot

When it is a PSU issue usually it will power up then off several times with certain trouble codes(on the EVGA X58) witch has the same problem.
Also the EVGA Classified is are not certified for the new Xeon 55XX series chips, as Intel has refused a few RMA requests from people who use that combo.
