  • EX58-UD3R Triple Channel problem

Hello TT, I bought my first ex58-ud3r(1.0) a few months ago and everything was running smooth until i accidentally made it go pop :\ After getting my new one and putting everything back together, and turning it on I got a series of rapid beeps from my system speaker for about 20 seconds, then it would restart and loop. The first thing I did was removed the 3rd stick of RAM which allowed me to boot properly, and everything was solid except for memory running in dual channel and the lack of 2 gigs. Since then i've tried just about everything I can think of to test the individual RAM sticks and slots. I can boot with any combo of 1 stick in any slot, so I'm assuming everything is in physical working condition. I've gone through and bumped up voltages for qpi and ram with no luck. Everything works fine in dual channel and my OS is only 32 bit so the extra 2 gigs aren't a huge deal right now, but you know how it is, there is something wrong with my pc so i want to fix it! I've also flashed to each new bios as they've been released up to F5, I downloaded F6b, but none of the updates have helped thus far so I'll save that for later. Thanks in advance for any help.

    Re: EX58-UD3R Triple Channel problem

Did you, or can you, check your CPU Socket for bent pins? This often causes this kind of issue.

If you looked and do not find any, can you please tell me what exact ram you have (Link or Model #), and give me your settings and I will see if I see any issues >>

This is Just a template I use to ask people their settings, pay no attention to the numbers in it, replace with yours
