  • Want to overclock E4500 on EP45-DS4P

I managed to clock my E4500 to 2.9Ghz stable on stock voltages.

    All I changed was:

    FSB: 266mhz (266x11 = 2.9...GHZ)
    Memory multiplier to 4.0
    DRAM freq: 266 (266x4=1066)
    FSB:RAM = 1:1

My Ram is 4GB Kingston HyperX 1066mghz RAM, does that give me head room to overclock to around 3.2GHZ?

My timings are 5-5-5-18, how do these affect my overclocking at what would be ideal timings to set to?

I would drop the CPU multi then raise your FSB, you can go as far as temps will allow really. The ram would not be so much of a factor as you can use a few different ram multipliers.

I do suggest you go RIGHT NOW and find and set your own stable Vtt (CPU Termination) and PLL Voltages because Auto will WAY Overvolt those if you leave them in auto

What speed are you thinking you might want to run? If you let us know, I or someone else can give you some settings to work with
