Hi, I have a Gigabyte GA-MA74GM-S2.
I have a fasttrak tx2650 SAS pci-E card running a 147GB 15K rpm drive.
This drive has my op system on it - works fine (windows xp)
I have two 1TB drives on the motherboard sata ports 0 and 1
I see them in the Bios. So i know they are recognized.
When i go to set the sata ports to "raid" and reboot.. the computer
gets to the "bios raid" section.. and says scanning drives......
that it.. it never finds them and never boots.. also I can not access the bios after that.. I have to use the jumper and clear the bios to get back in..
I need to access some kind of raid setup utility.. there is 1 setup utility for my fast track card.. but that is SAS not SATA.. does this mean I cannot have a SAS drive and two drives on raid via the mother board?
Any help appreciated
Ashley
