  • Issues installing Vista 32 and 64 on GA-EX54_EXTREME

Every time I install Vista 64 or 32 on my system it boots the the first time waits a few secs and shuts down. When i turn the computer back on it fails to Boot vista.

When the boot loader starts I get a bunch of Fall-backs and then a watered down command prompt.

    GA-EX54_EXTREME
    EVGA Geforce GTX 295
    3X2GB Corsair 1600Mhz RAM
    Instal I7 920
    WD1000 1TB SATA hd

Any help would be appreciated. I am installing XP 32bit right now to see if that has the same issue.

Update: My system boots up with Windows XP 32Bit but of course I can't see the 6GB or Ram.

Try the install with only 2GB stick of ram. What Vista disk is this anyway?

And how are you trying to install, I mean AHCI/RAID or IDE/Normal SATA mode?

So, do you get to the install section of the Vista setup, or not? Do you get to choose a disk to install to, or not that far either?

Sorry, from your description I am just not sure how far you are getting, and what error/errors is stopping your install
