  • Help with EP45-DS3L

    Hey all,

First time builder looking for some help with finding the right memory timings on my new rig. E8400, EP45-DS3L with 4 gig Mushkin DDR2 800 model 991587, EVGA 260 core 216, WD Velociraptor 150gb.

    Re: Help with EP45-DS3L

    Congrats on your first build!!

What Speed are you running your CPU at?

Best to just let us see what you are using now, unless you are still at stock and want to overclock. If you do want to overclock let us know the speed and we can suggest you some optimal settings

If you did mean stock here this would be optimal, if not please let us know and we will advise back

      Re: Help with EP45-DS3L

Thanks a lot for the recommendations. I have everything at stock and I'll keep it that way for a little while. But, if I were to try and overclock, what would some recommendations be for 4.0 ghz?

        Re: Help with EP45-DS3L

4Ghz eh, pretty easy for that CPU if you have good cooling >>>

See my signature for my review on a set of that memory if you like, forgot to mention that to you in my last post
