  • I need help

Hello i need that someone help me about a problem with my memories.
    My computer:

    -Gigabyte ep45 ds3r bios f10
    -2x2 gb kingston hiperx 1066
    -intel q6600@3200
    -sapphire radeon 4870
    -nox urano 600w

My problem is that these memories dont work at 1066@5,5,5,15800@4,4,4,10.

    Sorry for my english.

      Re: I need help

you may need to tweak the mch ref value, but 1st try manually setting the PL(static tRead) to like 10. Then see if it boots. If not, try switching the mem stick positions, so 1>3 and 3>1, try it. If not Try 1 stick at a time and run memtest if it will boot fine with 1 stick at 1066

        Re: I need help

Ya, I would start with a high PL (Static tRead/tRD) at 9-10 and then add some MCH Voltage and set ram voltage to 2.1. Try MCH Core Voltage of 1.2-1.24 and see if that helps

What FSB are you using for your CPU? This matters because you need to choose your memory multiplier based on this FSB Setting.

Please to make it easier give us your full settings that are failing and a link to your ram or the model # and we will advise back >>>

                    Re: I need help

Hmm, You will need to do some more testing to see if you have bad slots on your board.

Please try with One stick of ram in slot 1, then 2, then 3, and then 4 to be sure all slots are ok.

If they are you should be using 1+3 or 2+4 for Dual channel memory.

About your Clock Drive voltage questions. You need to load and apply optimized defaults, then save and reboot back to the BIOS and they will be changed and working. Manually changing them may not work as many hidden settings will also be set incorrect since you loaded fail safe settings.

So please load optimized, then save and apply and reboot back to the BIOS and then set all your settings again. DO NOT FORGET SATA and Other DISK Settings you WILL HAVE TO Set them all again before you load windows.

Once you are sure you have working memory slots I can advise you about your settings
