Dynamic Energy Saver Causes Message LED to Blink on and off

I am not sure everyone out there is aware of this but I noticed when dynamic energy saver is running the msg led on my tower blinks on and off every 6 secs or so. Its somewhat irritating especially in a dark room. Anyone know how to turn off that blinking?

That is normal the operation of the program, it is letting you know it is enabled and working.

If you wish for it to not flash you will have to either uninstall the program, or disconnect the LED.

Doing that, or simply not using the DES program by Disabling C1E and EIST will also disable the onboard Phase LED's as well if you want a really dark room

It would be great if gigabyte included an option in DES program to turn that feature off. The blinking indicates S1 sleep mode as per the manual. Somewhat odd for it to be blinking on/off all day.

You can try shutting off the phase LED's with the program, this may also disable the flashing Message light. Otherwise if you want to use DES you may just have to disconnect the light

Bingo!! Nice job Lsdmeasap!

Turning off the Motherboard Phase LED to Off within DES keeps the light on full time. Sweet no more blinking :)

"To switch on/switch off power phase LED display located on the motherboard to show dynamic gear shifting in real-time. (Default: ON)"

I thought that might do it, now just to keep that in my head for the next user that asks

I knew it shut off the Phase LED's on the board, just wasn't sure if it would affect the Case LED's or not. Good to know it does, thanks for posting back!

You know being that I have been working on systems for so long I always thought wouldn't it be great if there was 1 section of a site that had all the answers and questions we find solutions to. No comments just the answer and the question for that motherboard. This would make life a lot easier for everyone especially as time passes by.

Ya, that would be great but awful hard to compile and keep clean. But for sure, it would be nice to start setting up
