  • UD5 board - how's it working out?

    I'm the happy owner of an X48 board. I'm shopping for new i7 board and want to hear the negatives if any about your experiences with the UD5...thanks in advance.

    Jeff;

    I bought the ud5 a couple months ago, and I couldn't be happier. Great combinations of options, overclocks like a dream, and is a reasonable price. IMO, the real benefit is the efforts of the Gigabyte support team: they're showing an obvious and concerted effort to optimize to the benefit of all.

    Buy it -- you'll be glad you did.

    PS: before anyone comments, I do NOT work for, or am affiliated with Gigabyte.

      You'll be quite happy with UD5. Check out my 3DMark'06 score which I made today

        I think it would be a great choice, as would the UD4P if you need to save some $$ and don't need all the UD5 feature

          Happy as a lark. Just got a new cooler today and easily got to 4Ghz. Used a guild for voltage tweaks and still reducing them. Temps idle aver 38-43c. Not sure why Real temp shows 40's and Easy Tune shows 30c though..
