  • EX58-UD3R qpi voltage problem

i using [email protected] (blck 190*turbo21x)
when i set qpi voltage, ram voltage [auto] in bios,
ram voltage sets 1.8v but qpi voltage just 1.175v.(in easytune6)
someone tells me [ram voltage] - [qpi voltage] should be =< 0.5v
and ram voltage must be under 1.65v
but my system's voltage gap is 0.625v, ram voltage is 1.8v.
    it is safe?

    Re: EX58-UD3R qpi voltage problem

If your ram needs 1.87 (Not all 1.8 ram will) then you will need to raise your QPI to at least 1.3-1.35.

That would likely help you with stability anyway at 190 bclk

To answer you, no that is not safe to run your ram that high with QPI that low.

Here is a Thread at XS that has some discussion on this subject >>>
