  • Gigabyte 945GZM-S2 onboard Audio Stereo mixing?

    Hello all!

    This is my first post!

I've got this problem. It's a protracted issue but I'll get right down to the sub-issue I'm dealing with now. I need to enable Stereomixing.

Basically I've looked but I can't see where to enable the stereo mixing part with the onboard audio chip for my mobo. Any help would be appreciated.

I know you need info so... Here is some system info:

So I checked and it does show both in my windows and gigabyte mixer but they are greyed out and cannot be manipulated... here

    and here...

I can't seem to enable it and I need to in order, according to their tech support guys, to play Bioshock. I've had months of problems and well, Hopefully this will be the last one!

Thank you in advance for any help that can be given by you learned Scholars!

Guys, has anyone got any form of suggestion on this? At this point I'm willing to go for anything.

      Thanks,

I'd go and ask in the PC section of a hifi website, you're more likely to get an answer there. Mostly OC nerds here, not that many audiophiles that know what you're talking ( I have no clue waht you mean by "stereo mixing"...).

Also are you sure if your sound chip supports it (whatever it is ;))? I'm not sure but maybe Realtek uses a generic driver and things that aren't supported are just not changeable (although you can see the option).
