EP45-UD3R Which cpu cooler to fit?

Have searched everywhere to try and find a suitable cooler that will fit with both the UD3R mb and NZXT alpha case, only one have found is the arctic freezer pro 7. Just wanted to know if there are any other better coolers out there that will work with the limited room with these 2 components. Ill be using either an E8400/E8500 cpu for the board and will possibly low/mid overclock the cpu. Would much appreciate some ideas.

I dont know about the case, but you should ot have issues with the board fitting heatsinks AFAIK. I'm using a Xigmatek S1283 and love it. It would keep my E8400 cool no matter how high I went. Dual's dont need as big of heatsink as the quads so the AC7 is prob OK??

Yeah, I can vouch for the Arctic Freezer Pro. It's a very nice heatsink and fits well in the motherboard. No interference with any of the heatsinks on the motherboard. I have the UD3R as well and an E8400.

I have a Centurion case and agree with the previous poster that case size/configuration is going to matter more. The UD3R works perfectly with the Arctive Freezer Pro.

the true 120 fits no problem and is very good. its what i use with my 9550. keep it cool. not sure it will fit your case my case is real big. cm stacker..

I'm using the OCZ Vendetta2 and a 120x38mm Panaflo fan.Works great.
