    hello,
    I'm french, so excuse my english.
    This is my computer :
    MB : Gigabyte EP45T DS3R (Rev 1.0)
    CPU : Core2Duo E8400 1333Mhz
    RAM : Corsair XMS3 2 Go (kit 2x 1 Go) DDR3-SDRAM PC10600 CL9 - TWIN3X2048-1333C9

    The problem is my RAM is running on DDR3 PC3-8500 :

    CPU-Z :

    And this is my Bios informations :

    MB Intelligent Tweaker(M.I.T.)
    Robust Graphics Booster ...............: Auto
    CPU Clock Ratio ..........................: 9 X
    CPU Frequency ...........................: 2.40Ghz(266x9)

    Clock Chip Control
    Standard Clock Control
    CPU Host Clock Control..................: [Disabled]
    CPU Host Frequency (Mhz) ............: 333 Mhz
    PCI Express Frequency (Mhz) .........: Auto

    (G)MCH Frequency Latch : ............: [333]
    System Memory Miltiplier SPD : ...... : [4.00B]

    Memory Frequency : 1066 1333

    DRAM timming selectable SPD : [AUTO]
    7
    7
    7
    20

    Dram Voltage : 1.500V
    Dram Termination : 0.750V
    Ch-A Data Vref : 0.750V
    Ch-B Data Vref : 0.750V
    Ch-A Adress Vref : 0.750V
    Ch-B Adress Vref : 0.750V

    So my question is, what i need to change to make my ram running in 1333Mhz ?

    Thanks.

      Re: GA-EP45T-DS3R memory 1333 problems

      you cpu is underclocked, in fact it's running at 2.4GHz, not 3

      change CPU Host Clock Control to enable.

      doing that your cpu will run @3GHz and your memories @1333MHz

      333*9=3GHz, and not 266*9=2.4GHz

      SPD & CPU Host Frec => Mem frec

      2.00B & 333 => 666MHz
      2.40B & 333 => 800MHz
      3.20B & 333 => 1066MHz
      4.00B & 333 => 1333MHz

      2.00D & 400 => 800MHz
      2.66D & 400 => 1066MHz
      3.33D & 400 => 1333MHz
      4.00D & 400 => 1600MHz

      3.33C & 200 => 666MHz
      4.00C & 200 => 800MHz

      3.00A & 266 => 800MHz
      4.00A & 266 => 1066MHz

      in adittion to that, change PCI-E Frec from Auto to 100MHz to avoid your video car is not stable

        Are you sure System Memory Multiplier is set to 4.00B? Did you properly exit the BIOS? Accoding to CPU-Z it is set to 3.2 (2x 8 divided by 5).

          ok I change the CPU Host Clock Control to 333*9=3Ghz

          but my question was about my memory frequency... I have Crosair 1333Mhz and I put in the BIOS settings :

          And I still have the same in CPU-Z... and yes i properly exit the BIOS... help me...

          I try to put 4.00D & 400 => 1600MHz and now in CPU-Z i have DRAM frequency 666.6Mhz and the ratio FSB:DRAM = 1:2

            Re: GA-EP45T-DS3R memory 1333 problems

            Do you get an error message the next time you enter the BIOS after you the system memory multiplier to 4.0D? Does the system seem to need several attampts to boot after making these changes? I think the settings arent applied properly because they're unstable, to confirm this pelase do the following:

            Enter the settings with the 4.0D multiplier again, save them, reboot in windows then enter the BIOS again and make photographs of the BIOS M.I.T. menu.
