  • GA-EP45-DS3R with Patriot PVS22G9600ELK 1200mhz, can't get over 1066mhz

Hi, i was wondering if anyone can help me out to get my RAM running @1200mhz and maybe do some overclocking. I've had this system for a while now but with all the settings to default, i'm thinking about upgrading my system to Core i7 and a new Video Card but i'm sure that if i give it a try i can get a little more speed out of this one. Here's what i have.

    CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 @ 3.00 Ghz
RAM: PATRIOT EXTREME PERFORMANCE VIPER SERIES DDR2 2GB (2 X 1GB) PC2-9600 PVS22G9600ELK (it's even listed as compatible on the product page on gigabyte's web site)
    Motherboard: GIGABYTE GA-EP45-DS3R (rev. 1.0)
HDD: 1x74GB WD Raptor (OS) and 3x500GB WDC SATA 2 HDD's (Storage)
VIDEO: XFX GeForce 7950GT (don't play much, only Doom3 and stuff like that)
CPU Fan: ASUS Arctic Square (it's supposed to be very good) w/ Ceramic Thermal Paste.

    Thanks!
