  • video card problems

    Hi all
I have a ep45-ds3r mother board and all is working well after Lsdmeasap gave me a hand setting up the motherboard. The problem I am experiencing is the monitor gets distorted and snowy after going into a video game such as company of heroes or even when in screen saver such as microsoft aquarium. After you shut the program or screen saver down the conditioin stays there. If you don't use any type of heavy graphics it doesn't do it. If you reboot its fine. Any Ideas?

    Thanks

    Re: video card problems

Could be a problem with your video card. Try downloading ATiTool (yes I know you have a GeForce) and use the option 'Scan for Atifacts'. What are the cards' temps at idle and load?

Have you overclocked the video card or changed it's cooling solution? What drivers are you running? Are you overclocking your system?
