Just a heads up the new release Creative X-FI Drivers WILL work on 64 Bit vista even though it's listed for 32bit only.

The driver comes as a trial, but I have to say there's a noticible difference in quality at least for me. Creative wants $29.99 for the driver after the trial runs out (30 days).

This is for the EP45-UD3P board

Works great with my EP45-DS3R under Vista 64. But only with the Realtek driver listed on the Gigabyte site, not with the latest Realtek drivers from Realtek's site. The newest drivers made the X-Fi utility give an "audio device not recognized" message.
