  • ep43-ds3l memory divider problem

    hye.as i mention in title above..i purchased this mobo on new year eve..so it is a bit new, before this i can change the memory divider in bios without faced the on off on problem..but today when i want to change it, it happen..
    when i press power button, it will run on(about 3 sec), then off then it will on again and run normally..however if i set it back to AUTO, this problem do not appear..i am using 2G kingston value ram..click below link to watch on off on problem...is it my mobo or ram fault??

      update*

      just clear cmos..
      reformat my xp..
      change ram slot from slot 1 to 2..
      increase ram vdimm to 1.9v

      but when change the memory multiplier, that problem happen again...

        Please link your ram and tell us if you are using a 2GB stick, or 2x1GB. And then so we are sure please post your exact settings you are trying that fail and we will advise back >>>>

        Likely you are just using a incorrect multi/strap choice
