      Bit of an update. Not really a bad one though.

      I've found that when the E8300 is at 3.4Ghz, I can change the strap to "2.66D", or 5:6 as CPU-Z names it. This brings my memory from 800mhz to 1066mhz. This failed to boot with 4-4-4-12 and 5-4-4-12, but it worked with 5-5-5-12. DIMM Voltage did not need to be changed.

      Tested the CPU to a max of 3.75Ghz, but even voltage adjustments to everything, and loose timings, it did not work. It isn't a terrible loss though.

      EDIT: Tried to go higher on that strap, but when the PC was about to POST, what came up was a weird grey screen, with a single blinking cursor between the top and middle of the screen.

      Back now to the safety of 1:1 CPU+Memory. :)
