  • GA-EP45-UD3P q6600 3.41 max OC? Current settings inside

I've had it in windows at 3.5. At 3.6 (9x 402) it blue screens I've tried higher voltages then currently.

ANYWAY... Here is where I'm at right now. If I go 1 more mhz on FSB to 428 or higher, it reboots its self during the Everest FPU Julia Benchmark. I just happen to be running through the Everest benchmarks, and noticed this So I figured I'd use it as a getting stable base.

I saw other posts that say MCH voltage should be higher depending on Vid card and how many HD's?
    I have a
    BFG 8800 GTS OC
    5 SATA Hard Drives
    2x2gig pc6400 Crucial Ballistix
    Corsair HX620 PS

    Any tips?
    Thanks!

Re: GA-EP45-UD3P q6600 3.41 max OC? Current settings inside

Some Q6600 need more then 1.5 for 3.6, after 3.4/3.5 voltage normally needs larger jumps for sure to go up small amounts. So you may just need more then you or your cooling is wanting to accept. Good thing is 3.4-3.6 is not much of a difference. All up to you if you really want to pump voltages for .2Ghz. And with Quads at high clocks you may HAVE to adjust and find stable Ref voltages. Try .63% -.73% MCH Ref voltage, and Just so you know I also did mean find and set CPU Ref voltages as well nto just this. I just mentioned that ref as a starter. To do that you need to first know this info >>>

CPU Termination (Vtt) Automatically changes the following if manually set >>>

CPU Reference Voltage (.63% of Default Vtt/1.20)
      CPU Reference2 Voltage (.67% of Default Vtt/1.20)
MCH Reference Voltage (.63% of Default Vtt/1.20)

DRAM Voltage Automatically changes the following if manually set >>>

MCH/DRAM Reference Voltage (.50% of Default Dram Voltage)
DRAM Termination Voltage (.50% of Default Dram Voltage)
Channel A Reference Voltage (.50% of Default Dram Voltage)
Channel B Reference Voltage (.50% of Default Dram Voltage)

If you want a higher or lower than stock % / Value for any of the above settings you will find it easier to set the Dram Voltage or Vtt back to stock (Or above or below to find and be able to choose alternate % Values), then adjust desired setting to the % / Value you wish to use.

Then once you have selected a % range you want to use for said setting then go back and raise your Vtt or Dram Voltage back to what you choose to use and the corresponding settings will self adjust
      Try this for 3.6 >>>
