    ET would be showing your CPU Temps not Core temps, so you should only really be thinking about what RealTemp says about your cores

      Thanks for your prompt reply.

      What's the difference between CPU temp and Core temp?. Actually I don't know which program to use and the temperature limits.

      I assumed ET6 was the best for this mobo, and the limits were those in the manual for green, red leds.

        You want to worry about your CoreTemps is all. Keep them under 70-75C

        For more info about RealTemp and if you want you can ask the maker of the program unclewebb. He posts everyday and could tell you suggested max and average temps for X58 for sure >>>
