GA P35-DS3P and 1tb Hard disk

Hello Iam looking at upgrading to a Samsung 1TB drive I have read that the bios needs to be updated, I am running F10 can any one please tell me if this is all thats required thanks

F10 should be fine, I see no limitation such as that for your board. You may want to update to F11 to support S3 sleep resume better though.

If you do, here is your boards model page. Be sure you look for your board revisions and click the proper link for board revision at the top before you download a BIOS. This is Re. 2.1 Page >>>

Ordered a samsung 1tb drive but as yet not delivered should be friday will let you know if i have any problems thanks

Ahh ok! You should for sure be fine! Remove the jumper on the disk if it has one
