P45 motherboards and 1Tb drives ??

Hi all and merry xmas and new year to you all. I have just ordered a samsung F1 1Tb hard drive and was wondering if there are still problems with gigabyte mobo's recognising them. I know it was a problem on some p35, x38 and x48 boards i am just hoping it has been solved on the P45 and newer boards.

I have a 1TB as storage w/ my UD3P and works fine, not sure if having an OS on it would make a difference? BTW I'm using Vista 64bit

Ah good to hear yeah i have vista 64 as well somaybe that helps in someway with it :).
