audio jack giving off squeels on X58-UD5

well, after scouring the gigabyte forum ive realised its not a mobo fault... or is it?

ive pulled it out and put it back, jiggled it, and brought it down to either the mobo or the case. (X58-UD5)
i have a coolermaster cosmos case, and when i plug in headphones into the audio jack it gives off a high pitch squeel that doesnt go away, it still transmitts but you can hear it when the music goes quiet.

anyone else having this problem or is this unrelated?

are you using the front audio plugin? cos some cable problems occur when using the front audio jack, and it's not the mobo but the PC case

yeah the front one. im 95% sure i connected it right to the mobo.

Make sure the cable is not near the video card, Ive always have had this kind of problems when the cable is very near or touching the video card.
