    hey i have a q6600 at 3.2ghz on a ep45 ds3l board. and i want to get to 3.4ghz what settings should i change here are my stable settings right now

    cpu vcore - 1.325 (1.28 in windows)
    cpu termination - 1.3
    cpu pll - 1.550
    cpu reference - auto

    mch core - 1.16
    mch reference - auto
    ich i/o - auto

    and if i set it to 425x8 i cant get the ram to 1066mhz. the closest is 1063mhz is that fine?

      If you have DRR2-1066 RAM it is fine to run it at 1063. Make sure you have set Vdimm and timings to whatever the manufacturer spec is. You will also probably need to bump the MHC and Vcore up a bit too. I'd try 1.3v mch and 1.4 vcore and if stable then lower them and test stability again.

        prime95 fails with the setting s you told me to do. should i try upping the cpu termination voltage? and i have the ep45 ds3l mobo and it says it can handle up to 1600mhz in the fsb. but with 3.4ghz it goes to 1700mhz. will my mobo handle that?
