Compatible CPU with Gigabyte Motherboard

Can someone tell me if a P4 2.66 GHZ cpu would be compatible with a Gigabyte 945 GSM - SL2 Motherbpard?

could you recheck your cpu number and repost it such as p4 855 or whatever and receheck your motherboard model number as there is not a 945 gsm listed on gigabyte's site.

Right. Please post the exact model of CPU, and board. The only similar named board I see is GA-945GZM-S2 and GA-945GCM-SL2.

There are only these 945 Chipset models >>> 945P, 945PL, 945G, 945GC, 945GZ

So if you are unsure, please check with CPU-z in the Mainboard tab it will say for sure what board model it is. Here is CPU-z >>>
