    GA-EP45-DS3L.E8500,OCZ700watt PS,2x2gig A-Data,rated by them at cl 555-15 2.1to2.3volts..board uses bios v7.Boots correctly at 3.17.Is overclock possible?

    Yes you can overclock for sure. Have you read any guides at all, or started overclocking any?

    What you should do first is set Performance Enhnace on Standard, set trfc to 52-52 and add some MCH Voltage for 2x2GB.

      YES i've read ur replys and the stickies,i have only a little experience overclocking,but like the idea.performance in flight sims is greatly improved.bios is now ver8.and am awaiting thermalright 120 and fan.

          runs 4050.07MHZ mem tests good at 4 hrs.orthos ran 2hrs till i stopped it temps 49-50,fs9and x-plane both run flawlessly.added a extreme120 cooler pointed at exhaust fan.idle 38-42 core 0,1.normal load 46-47.any more changes? cpu core at 1.264 at idle

            Looks good to me! Especially since your games run good, all you can do is tighten up your timings as much as you can to gain better performance
