Hi,
I'm having an issue with memory in my recently built PC. It's got an e8500 core 2 duo and ep45t-ds3r mainboard. Up until this week, I was using 2x1gb OCZ PC1600 DDR3 ram clocked at 1333, and I had no crashes. Then I purchased two more identical sticks to up my RAM to 4x1gb, and memory reliability tanked. Memtest86+ shows dozens of errors within 30 seconds of beginning the test. I've tried various memory timing tweaks (relaxing timings, increasing ram voltage, increasing MCH Core voltage, etc.) but nothing seems to help. So, I tried to go back to just running with 2x1gb but now even those don't work correctly. Each individual stick checks out with memtest86, so it's not a RAM issue specifically- it must either be a configuration problem or a motherboard problem. Does anyone have any suggestions? Is this a common problem with the EP45 line? I'm considering RMAing the board.
Thanks for any advice!
