Re: first time user with ep45 ds3l
Great getting with us, Lsdmeasap,
I thought we were out of luck after getting this message from Cosair:
With 2 modules installed the tested settings would be:
Memory Frequency: 1066Mhz
Memory Voltage: 2.1v
TCL: 5
TRCD: 5
TRP: 5
TRAS: 15
Command Per Clock: 2T
With four modules you may run into a limitation of the chipset (more info can be found here: http://www.corsair.com/_appnotes/AN8...urce_Guide.pdf) and DDR800 would be recommended. In some cases you can overclock the motherboard to give you a bit more headroom to run four modules on the board at a higher speed, but results will vary and you would need to overclock the board at your own risk. If you decide to try it then I would suggest setting your northbridge voltage up to about 1.45-1.5 volts.
I will work on it tonight.
Thanks again.
